"We found that Wongulla Heights was an ideal holiday location. Clean and well appointed, magnificent views and secluded. We enjoyed the wildlife with kangaroos coming right up to the house. The nights viewing the stars were highlights. A reasonable sized block with tracks for walking around revealed Wombat holes, but sadly we didn't see any. We found the wifi to be excellent with speeds of 100Mbps plus recorded and our Optus phones had 4G reception. By comparison when we went down to the river to go fishing we had no reception. The main reason we chose this place was for our little dog, it has a fully fenced yard. We would recommend this place and will use it again"

"Another amazing family winter getaway. Both houses had everything we needed. Couldn’t ask for a better location. We spent our time sipping wine by the campfire, kayaking, the kids set up volleyball nets on the lawn, card & board games…..just to name a few of the activities we did. Thank you River Shack Rental for another wonderful school/uni holiday getaway for our families. Everyone had the best time. Kids did however have one complaint ….that 3 nights was not long enough. We will definitely be back again"

"Our stay at 103 at Walkers in Walker Flat over the New Year period was wonderful, in fact exceding our expectations. The house has been beautifully renovated following the dreadful floods of 2022. So much thought and detail has gone into furnishing the home to make all future guest experiences both comfortable and memorable. Everyone slept well on the new beds, the ducted airconditioning upstairs and incredibly efficient split unit downstairs made everyones hot New Years day far more pleasant. All crockery, cutlery, cookware and glassware were in abundance ensuring our large family group were well catered for. For those wanting a luxurious stay whilst taking in the serenity that the Murray River offers I highly recommend this property. We will absoultely be returning again. "

It felt like we were actually on the river and we loved sitting on the pontoon watching the world float by. The view was spectacular.
